- Long life in abrasive materials — solid carbide construction provides longer service life than carbide-tipped alternatives when routing abrasive materials like MDF and laminates.
When to Use This Bit
The TXX 208 is a workhorse routing bit for dadoes, housings, rebates, grooves and through-cuts across hardwood, softwood, MDF and sheet goods. For superior edge finish in production work, consider upgrading to the TSRW/TSLW spiral series.
