The Kincrome Taper Punch — also called a drift or aligning punch — is built to line up holes before a fastener or rivet goes in, and to drive out pins, rivets and fasteners. Its long tapered body in hardened and tempered Chrome Vanadium steel reaches deep while a knurled grip keeps it locked in your hand under the hammer.

When to Use This Punch
Use the 10mm Kincrome Taper Punch (K9497) to align larger bolt or rivet holes in stacked plate and bracket work, or to drive out a sizeable pin or rivet. The taper makes it ideal for pulling misaligned holes together; once the holes line up, drop the fastener through. For finishing a pin all the way out of a deep bore, follow with a matching Kincrome Long Pin Punch.
