When to Use This Product
Use the ChemTig Crack Finder Kit (CT-WCFF) after welding to verify weld integrity, or during maintenance inspections to check for fatigue cracking. Step 1: spray cleaner and wipe dry. Step 2: apply red penetrant dye and allow to dwell (typically 5–10 minutes). Step 3: wipe off excess dye and spray white developer — any cracks will show as red lines against the white background.
