When to Replace Brake Pads
Inspect trailer brake pads at every service interval or before any long trip. Replace the R1616 pads when the friction material is worn to 2mm or less, or when you notice reduced braking performance, unusual noises during braking, or uneven pad wear. Always replace pads in axle sets (both sides) to maintain balanced braking.
