• Override (surge) brake mechanism — when the tow vehicle brakes, the trailer pushes forward on the coupling which activates the hydraulic master cylinder, applying the trailer brakes proportionally to deceleration force.
• Solid shaft construction — heavy-duty solid shaft transfers the surge force reliably to the brake master cylinder for consistent, predictable braking.
• 2 tonne rated — rated to 2,000kg gross trailer mass (GTM), suitable for medium duty trailers including boat trailers and car carriers with hydraulic disc brakes.
• Dacromet finish — superior corrosion resistance compared to standard zinc plating, especially important for boat trailer couplings exposed to salt water.
• 4 hole mounting — four-bolt pattern provides a stronger, more secure mounting to the drawbar than 2 or 3 hole patterns.
