When to Use This Bolt
Use the R5201 when replacing a worn or stretched shackle bolt during suspension service. Shackle bolts wear over time from the constant pivoting action and should be replaced along with the spring bushes (R5611 or R5611A) whenever you rebuild the suspension. For greaseable shackle pins that allow lubrication without disassembly, see the R5205A instead.
