A 2-flute carbide-tipped straight router bit with end cutting capability for plunge cutting deep or repetitive holes. Also suited to normal groove, trim and rebate routing. The end cutting (E/C) geometry allows the bit to plunge directly into the workpiece from the face without requiring a pre-drilled pilot hole.

When to Use This Bit
Choose the T 1410 M E/C for plunge cutting hinge mortises, blind pockets, window openings in sheet panels and repetitive hole production where entry from the face is required without pre-drilling. The end cutting feature separates this from a standard straight bit — see the T 1400 series (R509) for non-plunge applications.
