The Carbitool T716B is a 2-flute carbide-tipped cove bit with ball bearing guide. Cuts a concave 1/2" radius cove profile on timber and sheet material edges. Up-shear cutting angle clears chips quickly for chatter-free, accurate routing. 1/4" shank.

When to Use This Bit
The T716B is the go-to choice when you need a concave cove edge on furniture, cabinetry, shelving or architectural timber. Its ball bearing guide makes it equally suited to straight runs and curved work. The R625 series covers cove radii from 1/16" (T702B) through to 3/4" (T724B 1/2) — choose the radius that matches your design requirement, and match the shank to your router.
Pro Tip: Raise and lower the router bit height to include or exclude the top corner of the cove profile, effectively giving you a plain cove or a cove-with-shoulder from the same setup.
