When to Use This Remote
The 202098 CT-F I remote control is a convenience upgrade for any Festool CT dust extractor with Bluetooth capability. It is most useful when you are working away from the extractor — at a bench, on a wall, or moving around a job site — and need to start extraction without interrupting your task. For CT 26/36/48 models manufactured before 2019, you will also need the Bluetooth module 202097 (sold separately). Newer CT MINI/MIDI models from 2019 onward have Bluetooth built in.
