The Festool 496302 universal blade handles both rip cuts and cross cuts in solid wood on the TS 55 and TS 55 R plunge saws. The 28 alternating teeth with a moderate 15° chip angle strike a practical balance between cutting speed and surface finish.

Choose the 496302 W28 as your everyday general-purpose blade when you need one blade for both rip and cross cuts in solid timber and sheet goods. It is the best all-rounder in the 160mm 2.2mm kerf range. For faster rip cutting in framing or rough work, step down to the 496301 PW12. For finer finish cross-cuts on veneered panels, step up to the 491952 W48.
