- Splinterguard slot — replaceable splinterguard strip sits at the cutting edge to virtually eliminate tear-out on the show face of the workpiece.

When to Use This Guide Rail
Choose the FS 800/2 for crosscutting boards and panels up to about 660mm wide, benchtop work and any situation where the longer rails are too unwieldy. It is ideal for trim carpentry, small cabinet panels and site work where portability matters. For full-sheet cuts, step up to the FS 1400/2 (491498) or FS 2400/2 (491502).
