The Festool 496301 Panther blade is built for fast, aggressive rip cuts in solid wood, building panels and soft plastics on the TS 55 and TS 55 R plunge saws. The 12 alternating-bevel teeth with a steep 20° chip angle clear material rapidly for high-speed stock removal.

Choose the 496301 PW12 for fast rip cuts along the grain in solid timber, breaking down sheet goods quickly, or cutting through building panels where speed matters more than edge finish. The aggressive tooth count and steep chip angle make it the fastest-cutting blade in the 160mm 2.2mm kerf range. For cleaner cross-cuts, switch to the 496302 W28 (28T) or 491952 W48 (48T).
