The Festool 496308 saw blade is engineered for cutting laminate flooring, HPL panels, Corian solid surface and melamine boards on the TS 55 and TS 55 R plunge saws. The 48-tooth trapezoidal/flat geometry with a low positive chip angle produces chip-free edges in brittle coated materials.

When to Use This Blade
Choose the 496308 TF48 for any cut in laminate flooring, HPL (Trespa), Corian, Varicor, melamine-faced boards or phenolic-resin panels. The trapezoidal tooth shape prevents chipping on coated surfaces. For aluminium and plastic cutting, use the 496306 TF52 instead. For natural wood, the W-series blades (496301, 496302, 491952) are better suited.
