When to Use This Splinterguard
Install the 499011 on the TS 55 REQ whenever you need splinter-free cuts on both sides of the blade — essential for veneered panels and laminate where both the workpiece and off-cut must be clean. Not compatible with the older TS 55 EQ or TS 75 (use 491473 for those). Not for jigsaws (use 490120) or guide rails (use 495207/495209).
