When to Use This Bearing Kit
Use the R1960 LM bearing kit when servicing or replacing bearings on any trailer hub fitted with LM (Holden-type) bearings. The quickest way to identify your bearing type is by stud size — Holden studs measure 11mm, Ford studs measure 12.4mm. If your trailer has the larger Ford studs, you need the R1961 SLM kit instead. This is the standard version with a conventional grease seal — for boat or jet ski trailers, choose the R1960M marine version.
