When to Use This Coupling
The R1803A is a standard coupling for trailers up to 2 tonnes that do not require override (surge) braking. If your trailer has hydraulic surge brakes, you need the R1809A override coupling instead. Choose the R1803A for unbraked trailers or trailers with electric or mechanical brakes where no override mechanism is needed.
