Rapidstick 8577 is a medium-strength anaerobic thread sealant with PTFE, safe for gas and potable water applications. It seals and locks threaded fittings while protecting against corrosion, shock and vibration. Soft-setting formula allows disassembly with standard hand tools.

When to Use This Product
Use Rapidstick 8577 (8577-50) on any threaded connection that needs a reliable seal — gas pipes, water fittings, hydraulic and pneumatic connections. Apply to clean, dry threads and assemble. The sealant cures anaerobically (in the absence of air) between the mating thread surfaces. Also available with the gasket sealant 8515-50 for flange applications.
