Sutton premium high-speed steel hand tap for cutting internal threads in steel, cast iron, brass, aluminium and most engineering metals. Ground from solid HSS with a bright finish and ISO529 straight flutes for accurate, repeatable threads. This 1/2-14 BSPT variant covers the BSPT / BSPF Pipe Threads thread standard — British Standard Pipe — tapered (BSPT) for sealed plumbing and hydraulic joints, parallel (BSPF) for mating with other fittings.
