The Makita SP6000JT2X is a 165mm (6-1/2″) rail-guided plunge cut saw supplied as a complete kit with two 1,400mm tracks, joiners, clamps and carry bag. A 1,300W variable-speed motor (2,000–5,800 rpm) with soft start delivers splinter-free, dead-straight cuts in sheet goods and panels.

Choose the SP6000JT2X kit when you need furniture-grade straight cuts in MDF, melamine, ply and benchtops without a panel saw. The two-rail kit joins to over 2.8m, breaking down full sheets in one pass. If you already own guide rails, the bare SP6000J offers the same saw without the track bundle.
Pro Tip: Score-cut first by setting the depth to about 2mm and running the saw forward along the rail before the full-depth plunge — this all but eliminates top-face chip-out in melamine and veneered board.
