Step down to the BD-325 (D590) bench drill where floor space is tight, or up to the PD-360 (D596) for 20mm capacity and a heavier frame.
Pro Tip: Drop to the lower 280–620 rpm belt steps for larger 12–16mm bits in steel — slower spindle speeds with cutting fluid keep the bit cool and extend its life when drilling thick stock.
