When to Use This Sander
Choose the M9203G when you want a true sheet-sanded finish on flat work — paint prep, between-coat sanding and finishing furniture and panels — using inexpensive cut paper. For aggressive stock removal or curved work, step up to the M9204B random orbit sander; for the smallest detail areas the 1/4-sheet BO4556K is handier. The M9203G is the classic flat-finish choice.
Pro Tip: Clamp the paper tight and tap the sheet flat against the pad before starting — a loose 1/3 sheet flaps at 12,000 opm, tears at the edges and leaves swirl marks instead of the fine flat finish the sander is built for.
