Reach for the M9204B when you want both speed and finish quality on flat and gently curved work — timber finishing, filler and paint sanding, and prep before coating. For dead-flat fine finishing on panels the 1/3-sheet M9203G is the better match; for heavy two-handed work step up to the 150mm BO6050J. The M9204B is the versatile 125mm all-rounder.
Pro Tip: Let the sander spin up to full speed before it touches the work and keep it moving flat — tipping a random orbit sander onto its edge digs the 2.8mm orbit in and leaves curved gouges that are hard to sand out.
