When to Use This Grinder
Choose the M9001B (230mm) for heavy grinding and deep cutting in steel and masonry where a 125mm grinder runs out of reach and power. For lighter, more frequent work step down to the 125mm GA5030R; if you want premium anti-vibration and the SJS clutch on a 9″ grinder, the GA9080FX1 is the upgrade. The M9001B is the value workhorse of the three.
Pro Tip: Fit the side handle and grip the M9001B with both hands — at 230mm and 6,600 rpm the stored energy is high, so let the disc reach full speed before contact and never bind the wheel in the kerf; a pinched 9″ disc kicks back hard.
