The Kirschen 1481 is a German-made in-cannel firmer gouge with the cutting bevel ground on the inside of the curve. The 12mm hand-forged blade is hardened to 61 HRC with a flat hornbeam handle — built for paring convex curves and cutting clean scribed shoulders.

When to Use This Gouge
