When to Use This Torque Wrench
Use the MTW80F whenever a fastener calls for a specified torque value rather than “tight enough” — engine components, wheel nuts, suspension and any critical assembly. Its 6.8-108.5 Nm range and 3/8″ drive cover the most common automotive and mechanical fastening. Choose the drive and range that brackets your target torque near the middle of the scale for best accuracy.
Pro Tip: After use, wind the wrench back down to its lowest setting (not zero) before storage — this relieves tension on the internal spring and helps the wrench hold its calibration over time.
