The Trax ARX-268 needle scaler strips rust, mill scale, weld slag and flaking paint from steel and welded fabrications. A bundle of 19 hardened 3mm needles hammers the surface at 4,600 blows per minute, and because the needles float independently they follow contours, corners and weld beads that a flat chisel can’t reach. Overall length is 460mm for good standoff from the work.
