The Trax ARX-HY191 is an air-operated engine cleaning gun with a 0.7-litre canister for kerosene, degreaser or solvent. Compressed air atomises the fluid into a fan that cuts through baked-on grease, oil and road grime on engines, gearboxes and machinery. At 0.6kg it’s easy to work around a bay all day, and the syphon canister refills in seconds.

Pro Tip: Let the solvent dwell for a minute after the first coat before blasting it off — giving the kero time to soften baked-on grease removes far more on the second pass than repeated wet-on-wet spraying.
