When to Use
The right size for sharpening .404″ pitch saw chain used on large production, milling and harvesting saws (commonly the 90cc-plus class). Check your chainsaw’s manual or the chain wrapper for the recommended file diameter before buying — the 5.5mm file is too large for the more common 3/8″ and .325″ pitch chains.
