When to Use This Filter
Choose the 205412 HEPA filter when your work involves ultra-fine dusts — MDF routing, fine-grit sanding, or any material that produces respirable particles requiring H class extraction. This filter suits the larger CT 26, CT 36, and CT 48 extractors. For standard wood dust that does not require HEPA performance, the more economical 496170 M Class filter is sufficient. Note that Festool does not recommend using a HEPA filter in the CTM 36L M Class Autoclean extractor as it may trigger premature flow sensor alarms.
