When to Use This Grip
The 301206P wire rope grip is used to clamp 6mm wire rope to form secure loops, eyes, and end terminations. Apply at least three grips per termination, spaced evenly, with the saddle (curved plate) on the live side of the rope and the U-bolt on the dead end. Tighten nuts evenly and re-torque after initial loading. This is a commercial-grade product and is not suitable for overhead lifting — use forged wire rope clips to AS 2076 for lifting applications.
