When to Use This Backing Pad
Choose the soft delta pads (488715) for general-purpose detail sanding in corners, along edges and on gently contoured surfaces. The soft foam conforms to the workpiece for even contact without digging in. For dead-flat surfaces and aggressive edge work in tight spaces, switch to the hard pads (488716).
