When to Use This Sander
Use the ARX-468 for the leveling stages of panel work — knocking down body filler, blocking primer and feathering paint edges over large flat and gently curved panels. It suits smash repairers and fabricators. For contoured or small areas a random-orbital sander is more manoeuvrable; the file board is for getting panels flat.
Pro Tip: Keep the board moving in long overlapping passes and let the full pad length ride the panel — short jabbing strokes cut hollows. Change to a finer grit before the previous scratches disappear to avoid loading the paper on high-build filler.
