The Geiger No.3 screw extractor removes broken screws, studs and bolts from internally threaded holes. Sized for M6 threads, it bites into a pre-drilled pilot hole and winds the broken fastener out as you turn anticlockwise.

When to Use This Extractor
Use the Geiger No.3 (GSESM6) when a M6 fastener has snapped or stripped. Centre-punch, drill a pilot hole down the broken fastener, drive the extractor in and back it out anticlockwise. Match the extractor number to the broken thread using the range table.
Pro Tip: Let penetrating oil soak a seized stud before you start, and keep the pilot drill perfectly centred — an off-centre hole weakens one side of the broken fastener and the extractor will spin instead of grip.
