When to Use Bearing Buddies
Bearing buddies are especially valuable on boat trailers where hubs are regularly submerged. When a hot hub hits cold water, the air inside contracts and can draw water past standard seals. The R1415A bearing buddy maintains positive grease pressure to prevent this. They are also convenient for any trailer where you want to top up bearing grease without pulling the hub apart. Simply replace the standard R1958 dust caps with these.
