Galvanised 8mm steel fish plate with 1/2″ slotted bolt holes for trailer leaf spring suspension. Sits between the spring and axle to distribute load and allow adjustment of the axle position. Suits 45mm width springs and 39–60mm trailer axles.

When to Use This Fish Plate
Fish plates sit between the leaf spring and the axle, secured with U-bolts. They distribute the clamping load across the spring and allow fine adjustment of axle position. Use the R1419A when building or repairing a trailer suspension with 45mm wide springs. The slotted holes give adjustment range that solid-hole fish plates do not. Pair with R1412 or R1412A shackle plates for a complete suspension rebuild.
