When to Use This Bearing Kit
Use the R1961 SLM bearing kit when servicing or replacing bearings on any trailer hub fitted with slimline (Ford-type) bearings. This is the standard version with a conventional grease seal — ideal for road-use trailers that are not regularly submerged. If your trailer is used for launching boats or jet skis, choose the R1961M marine version which includes upgraded seals rated for water submersion.
