The Star S770-51S is a suction-feed spray gun with a 3.0mm stainless steel nozzle and 1-litre pot, made for spraying heavy-bodied materials such as putty, primer, glue, underbody black and structural steel paint. The large-bore nozzle passes thick coatings that would clog a finer gun, and it handles acrylic, 2-pack, water-based materials and solvents.

When to Use This Spray Gun
Reach for the S770-51S when you need to spray thick, high-build materials — putty, primer, underbody deadener or heavy industrial paint — rather than fine topcoats. The 3.0mm nozzle and suction pot suit panel shops, fabrication and structural steel work. For fine finish topcoats, choose a smaller 1.4-1.8mm gun instead.
Pro Tip: Keep inlet pressure in the 50-70 PSI band — over-pressuring a 3.0mm suction gun atomises too fine for high-build material and causes dry spray and overspray. Thin putty only as far as the data sheet allows to keep the wide fan even.
