2-flute carbide-tipped rounding-over bit with integral pilot — the largest radius in the pilot-guided series at 1/2″. For substantial round-overs on table tops, bench edges, and furniture where a bold, smooth radius is required. The built-in pilot eliminates fence or guide assembly setup. 1/4″ shank.

When to Use This Bit
The T516 is the right choice when you need a bold 1/2″ radius without setting up a bearing guide. For the same radius with a ball bearing (not a fixed pilot), use the T516B. For smaller radii with pilot, see T506 through T512 in the same series.
Pro Tip: On wide or heavy stock, take two passes — a roughing pass leaving 1–2mm, then a light finishing pass for a clean, burn-free surface. Keep RPM between 16,000–20,000 for this larger diameter.
