The Carbitool T424 1/2 is a 2-flute Carbide Tipped core box (round nose) bit. Cuts a semicircular groove profile used for fluting flat surfaces such as mantles, facades and column forms. Also used for signage lettering. 3/8" radius. 1/2" shank.

When to Use This Bit
Choose the T424 1/2 for decorative fluting on flat surfaces — column forms, mantle faces, cabinet panels and facades. Also suited to signage lettering where a rounded stroke profile is required.
