The Carbitool T610B is a 2-flute carbide-tipped beading bit with ball bearing guide. Produces a decorative 5/16" radius bead on the edge of the workpiece, leaving a 1/16" step (fillet) below the bead. Can be converted to a rounding over bit by swapping to a TB11 bearing. 1/4" shank.

When to Use This Bit
Choose the T610B when you need a traditional bead-and-fillet edge profile on furniture, frames, cabinet doors or architrave details. The TB9 bearing exposes the bottom corner of the cutter for the classic bead; swapping to TB11 converts it to a rounding over profile — making this one of the most versatile edge bits in the Carbitool range. Radii in the R617 series run from 1/16" (T602B) through to 1-1/4" (T640B 1/2).
Pro Tip: Use the router table height adjustment to selectively include only the top or only the bottom section of the profile. Running the bit slightly deeper engages the bottom bead; shallower excludes it — giving you multiple distinct profiles from a single bit setup.
