The Carbitool TFM 06 B 1/2 is a 2-flute carbide-tipped face moulding router bit with a ball bearing guide and 1/2″ shank. Designed for window sills, skirting boards, architraves, and picture frames, it produces a traditional repeating moulding profile in a single router table pass.

When to Use This Bit
The TFM 06 B 1/2 is a router table bit — not for handheld routing. Mount it in a table-mounted router with a 1/2″ collet. It is best suited to straight skirting board runs, window sill nosing, and small architrave profiles. The Carbitool face moulding series (R692–R706) covers a wide range of traditional profiles at different scales; if this profile is too small or too large for your application, other profiles in the series include the TFM12 B 1/2 and TFM18 B 1/2 (profile comparisons available at Alltools Geelong).
Pro Tip: Face moulding bits cut best when the workpiece is fed at a steady, consistent pace with no stops. Hesitating mid-pass will leave a burn mark. Run a test pass on scrap to dial in your feed rate before committing to finished stock.
