When to Use This Interface Pad
Install the 205418 interface pad on the Planex LHS 2 225 whenever sanding plaster, dispersion-based fillers or painted surfaces on walls and ceilings. The foam layer compensates for minor surface irregularities and prevents the hard backing pad from leaving visible scratches. Must be used with the ST-D220/48-LHS 2 225 (205415) backing pad. Not compatible with the older Planex LHS 225 EQ or LHS-E 225 EQ models.
