When to Use This Backing Pad
Choose the soft pad (202458) for everyday finish sanding on flat panels, timber edges and gentle contours. It is the most versatile option in the range. For deeper contour work on mouldings and profiles, switch to the super-soft (202459). For aggressive flat-surface stock removal and crisp edge work, use the hard (202460).
