Intech’s PRSCJ jenny caliper (also called an odd-leg caliper) has one straight scribing point and one curved reference leg, letting you mark lines a fixed distance from an edge or scribe parallel to a curved surface. It’s the go-to marking-out tool for laying down centrelines on round stock and stepping off consistent offsets on plate.

When to Use the PRSCJ250
Reach for the PRSCJ250 jenny caliper when you need to scribe a line parallel to an edge or curved surface — marking centrelines on bar stock, stepping off plate-edge offsets for hole patterns, or laying out parallel cut lines on sheet metal. The 250mm size gives reach for larger plate and longer offset distances.
Pro Tip: To find the centre of a round bar end, scribe four arcs — one from each quadrant with the curved leg on the outside and the point set to half the approximate diameter. The arcs form a small box in the middle; its centre is the centre of the bar, and you can centre-punch it directly for drilling or turning between centres.
