The Accud AC-951-006-01 is a six-piece telescopic gauge set covering 8–150mm in self-centring bore and slot measurement. Each spring-loaded gauge auto-expands to the bore diameter; lock the head with the knurled handle screw and transfer to a micrometer for the reading.

When to Use the AC-951-006-01
Reach for the telescopic gauge set when measuring bores in the 8–150mm range where an inside micrometer won’t fit and a caliper is too imprecise — valve guides, valve seats, small cylinder bores, tapped-hole minor diameters, bearing-fit inspection. For bores above 150mm step up to the AC-352 tubular inside micrometer set.
Pro Tip: In a deep bore, rock the telescopic gauge gently side-to-side while the plunger is unlocked — the spring drives it to the max diameter at the plane of contact. Once locked, rock it again on the way out: if the plunger resists, the gauge is sitting at true diameter; if it slides freely, you weren’t fully expanded. Re-measure.
