This brass male-and-female adaptor carries a 1/8″ BSP male thread at one end and a 1/4″ BSP female port at the other, letting you change thread size and gender in a single fitting. It connects air tools, hoses and fittings of different BSP sizes in compressed-air lines, compressor outlets and pneumatic tool plumbing.

When to Use This Adaptor
Reach for part 0172-0402 when you have a 1/8″ male outlet but need a 1/4″ female connection (or vice versa) — the M&F adaptor changes both size and gender in one fitting. Wrap the male thread with PTFE tape before fitting for a clean, leak-free seal.
