This extended brass hex nipple carries a 1/4″ BSP male thread at each end with a longer barrel than a standard nipple, giving extra reach when joining two female air-line ports. It connects sockets, couplers and tool inlets in compressed-air lines, compressor outlets and pneumatic tool plumbing where a little more length helps clear obstructions.

When to Use This Long Nipple
Reach for part 01-2804 when joining two 1/4″ BSP female ports but a standard nipple sits too short — the longer body bridges a wider gap or clears a manifold face. Wrap the male threads with PTFE tape before fitting for a clean, leak-free seal.
