When to Use the 267MTQ308
Reach for the 267MTQ308 200mm inside caliper when you need to check or transfer an internal diameter — cylinder bores, valve guide IDs, tapped-hole widths, or hydraulic bore inspection. The 200mm size reaches into deeper bores and larger hydraulic cylinders. For measuring outside diameters on the same parts, pair with a P&N outside caliper (267MTQ206/208).
Pro Tip: When checking a bore, rock the caliper gently side-to-side until the legs just drag rather than slide — that’s the actual diameter. Pressing harder spreads the legs and reads oversize. Transfer to a micrometer or rule for the actual number.
