Accud Plastic Digital Caliper — 0–150mm (0–6″)
Part No: AC-117-006-11 | Barcode: 9346967024699 | Series: Accud 117 Plastic Digital
The Accud AC-117-006-11 is a lightweight 150mm digital caliper with a hard-plastic body, delivering four-way measurement (outside, inside, depth and step) at 0.01mm resolution. It’s the non-marking caliper to reach for when you’re working on soft alloys, finished timber, plastics or polished surfaces that a steel caliper could scratch.

Key Features & Benefits
- Hard-plastic jaws won’t mark — ideal on finished timber, soft metals or painted surfaces where steel calipers leave witness marks that ruin the finish.
- Four-way measurement — outside, inside, depth and step measurements from a single tool; covers nearly every benchtop dimensioning task.
- 0.01mm digital resolution — large LCD with mm/inch conversion button; easy to read and easy to zero at any dimension for comparative checks.
- Lightweight at 110g — comfortable in the hand through a long session of repeated measurements; doesn’t fatigue the wrist like all-steel calipers.
- Non-magnetic — safe around magnetic workholding setups where a steel caliper would be attracted and difficult to control.
When to Use the AC-117-006-11
Reach for the AC-117 when you’re measuring on finished surfaces that must not be marked — polished timber, painted panels, plastic mouldings, or soft alloys. For precision engineering work in the ±0.02mm class, step up to the Accud AC-111 series stainless-steel digital caliper; for quick visual reads without batteries, the AC-101 dial or AC-120 vernier calipers are good alternatives.
Pro Tip: The plastic body is non-magnetic and temperature-stable for bench work, but direct sunlight can make the LCD harder to read — shade the display with your hand or move to indirect light for the clearest reading. Store with the jaws closed to protect the measuring faces.
