Replacement gas cartridges for protection against organic vapours — this A1-class pair guards against vapour from organic substances with a boiling point above 65°C, such as solvents and formaldehyde. Certified to AS/NZS 1716 and EN143:2000 (A1) and made with no metal parts.

Key Features & Benefits
- Class A1 organic vapour filtration — protects against vapour from organic substances with a boiling point above 65°C (e.g. solvents, formaldehyde).
- Secure bayonet connector — locks positively onto MaxiGuard masks with a low-profile twin-filter design.
- No metal parts — polypropylene construction; lightweight with low breathing resistance.
- Add a prefilter for combined hazards — fit a P2 particulate prefilter (R7N11-P2) to the front when both particles and gas are present.
- 5-year shelf life — expiry is 5 years from date of manufacture.
When to Use the R701-A1
Use the R701-A1 cartridge pair when you only need organic-vapour (gas) protection — solvents, paints, formaldehyde — on a MaxiGuard R7500 half mask or R680/R690 full face mask. If your environment also has particulates, add a P2 prefilter (R7N11-P2), or step up to the R703-ABEK1P2 combo for a wider gas range plus particulates.
